This is a simple plugin that turns an element full of <img> elements into a slideshow that will stretch images horizontally and proportionally, but with a fixed height.

Since the images are treated as centered background images (in the CSS sense), they’ll stretch as much as their parent container without causing scrollbars to appear (unless specified via CSS).
